May 2012 Hotbuys!

Hey guys,

So a few days ago Stardoll released the May Hotbuys!

Now I think that this collection of Hotbuys has some pretty good items in here, and they are also an improvement from the April hotbuys ( which really didn't impress me that much.). A few of my favorites include the Pin Hat, Polka dot dress, Batman Necklace, and the cut out leggings ( which come out the day before my birthday!).

Review: They're okay, I'm not the biggest fan of them. Although they would go pretty well with the floral dress.

Hotbuys Floral Dress:

Review: It's alright, I likew the floral print, but could do without the Cheetah top.

All in all a very nice collection of Hotbuys!

New wig store- Tress Up.

Hey Guys,

So for a long time now, people have been asking for some new hairstyles. We haven't received any new SS hairstyles since December 2010 and it was time for some new additions. Of course we have Stardesign Jewelry now and can make wigs, but they're pricey for a decent looking one.

So Stardoll listened, and on Friday they released a new wig store named " Tress Up"

The store has two floors and the prices range from 80 starcoins to 15 stardollars.

The idea s very neat, and the hairstyles are cool. One that has proved to be popular would be the " Valentina" wig. Fans of the Hunger Games ( it sounds like a neat movie to be honest. I haven't seen it yet.) will know that it's kind of like Katniss Everdeen's braid. The " Joanna" wig will probably be used in Lady Gaga tutorials, since it does look like her bow hairstyle.

One of the neat things about these wigs is that you can dye them with Doree dyes and highlights. Which is pretty cool!

Some of my favorites would have to include the " Mona" wig, the " Tijana" wig, the "Lina" wig, the " Sara" wig, and the "Valentina" wig.

Over all it's a neat idea, and I think that it will satisfy a lot of people :)

New Dot!

Hey Guys,

So yesterday evening I saw this little preview of the next Dot on the slideshow, and today the collection was released!

The collection is pretty neat. Although the only thing that irks me is the "Teal Me" blush. Who in their right mind would wear teal blush? I'm serious! What was Stardoll thinking when they came up with the blush colors?

The eyeshadows are my favorite part of the collection. I love the "Teal Me" eyeshadow ( because, unlike the blush, it's wearable.). A few other favorite eyeshadows are the " Mossy Garnet" eyeshadow, " Just Peachy" eyeshadow, " Azure Shadow" eyeshadow, "Muted Ruby" eyeshadow, and the " Lichen LUXE" eyeshadow.

The eye kohls and eye liners are great. I already purchased the " Teal Me" liner :)

The lipsticks and lipliners are alright. I just wish there was more natural colors.

All-in-all it's a nice collection. I really like the eye shadows!
