She returns?

Hey,
So I have a couple of hours to pass before I go to bed, and I decided to look through my guestbook messages and you will not believe what I found.
Does anyone remember lilSmiley101? If not, let me tell you.
On April 4th, 2011 she made a claim that I had accused her of being a hacker.
On April 20th, she made a blog and posted this:

Oh the irony...
I  never snuck onto her account,  nor did I make a blog post calling her a hacker.
So now she's asking me to join her club?
The recent comment was made four months ago, but seriously do you think she forgot everything that happened?
Idk, but I'm certainly not getting dragged back into this mess again...

Halloween Tutorials?

Last year, I did a batch of Halloween tutorials and I'm going to start doing them again!
This year:
Lady Gaga-Paparazzi look
Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz
80's look
Updated Marilyn Monroe look ( I did one last year, but it didn't turn out so well...)
and a lot more!

Another "The Stardoll Times"?

I am honestly surprised at this.
I typed in thestardolltimes.blogspot.com in my url, and look what I found...
Apparently there is another blog called The Stardoll Times, created one day after mine..
I made this a little large because of the text being so small. I highlighted the date that the post was posted.  November 6th 2010.
Now I'm not going to get into a whole thing here. Why? Well let me explain...
The urls are different:
Her's: thestardolltimes.blogspot.com
Mine: sbadvice.blogspot.com
Why is mine sbadvice? Well a couple months before I started this blog, I created an advice called spadvice. At the time I was new to blogging and thought that the other one was deleted (when it really wasn't...) and created this one. After I started blogging regularly, I thought about changing the url. But I was kind of scared that it would mess everything up. So I didn't.
Reason Number Two:
The owner of the blog, Chloe, probably didn't even know that there was another blog called The Stardoll Times. So I'm not going to start bashing her for something she didn't even know.
And lastly, reason number three:
It's not like the blogs are the same. I mean sure we post about Stardoll but the blog appearances are different, and it looks like she quit posting after November 9th, 2010. And during the time that she did post, it was about Freebies. Which I haven't done in a long time.
So yeah...

New Dot and Doree...and Sara's opinion

Hey,
So today Stardoll released a new collection of Dot and Doree.
Dot, the first floor.

It's getting to the point where the Dot collections are getting repetitive. I promise you that there was a collection with similar-if not the same, colors earlier in the year. I'm sure if I search around in the blog archives, I'll find something...
Second, didn't Stardoll just release a new Dot collection last week?    The MSW collection?
I don't really have much to say about Doree. The colors are okay...I probably won't buy any.
Edit: AHA!

I WAS RIGHT!
At the end of March, Stardoll released a Spring collection! The blue is a replica of " Malibu Blue" which I have a shade-stick of and the yellow is a replica of "Butter cup". Also the " Midnight black" is the same as the Black eye shadow that I use in my videos.
A little research paid off.

Yet another look at my Starpoint plant..

Yesterday I posted about getting starpoints. Today I'll be showing you my Starpoint plant, for the third time.

This is it! It has certainly grown since November when it looked like this:
This was taken on November 11th, at the time I had 3773 Starpoints ( this before the new system was introduced.) and the branches were beginning to grow. And it has changed drmatically since I first told you all about my Starpoint Plant back in March of 2011.

At the time this was taken I had 2688 starpoints. Which is about a 1,085 starpoint difference.

On my way up, a little Starpoint prediction PART II

Last year I made a post about Starpoints and how to earn them quicker. Since then, Stardoll has changed their starpoints system and I decided to write a new one that is a little more up-to-date. There is some math incorporated in this, so enjoy!

Let's start off with the basics.
If you are a SS/Royalty member, you can now earn up to 14 starpoints a day, if you are a non-SS you can earn up to 12 starpoints a day-same as before.
Now that Stardoll has introduced the "Levels" system, things are a little different. In order to level up, you must have a certain number of starpoints.
Earning Starpoints has changed dramatically since last time. You can still do the Play and Earn system to earn Starcoins, but in order to earn Starpoints you have to complete achievements which I'll explain later on.

What is an Achievement?
"  Achievements are tasks that you can complete to win awards and gain Starpoints. For each achievement that you complete, you will receive an achievement award that you can display on your achievement shelf under your suite. Earning achievements will give you Starpoints which will help you level up faster and will unlock new items as well as functions on the website. The achievements are in one of 6 categories: Core, Design, Sell, Social, Collect and Competitions." - Stardoll's Help Section
Example of the Achievements section, this is mine. =)
Confused? When this system first came out, I was too, but after reading it over a couple of times I got it.
Each Achievement that you earn gives you a certain number of Starpoints which will help you level up.

This particular achievement will give you 2 starpoints.

Which Achievements will give me the most Starpoints?
If you win a competition, such as Covergirl or Best Scenery, you will receive 25 starpoints.  That is the most Starpoints you can earn from an achievement.
But let's face it out of the 196,513,575 members of Stardoll, only 365 members will become Cover-girls this year. So the easier, high starpoint, achievements include:
Fit for a queen (Royalty Member) = 15 Starpoints
No place like Stardoll (logging in everyday for 30 days.) =  15 starpoints
Stardoll 365 (logging into Stardoll everyday for 365 days, or a year.) = 25 starpoints
Social Butterfly (creating 10 chat-rooms) = 15 starpoints ( just got this one today, took me three days to do it, but if you create 2 chat rooms an hour it would only take 5 hours =P )
Girls, Girls, Girls (owning a club with 100 members) =  15 starpoints
Gift Giver ( give one gift to a friend) = 7 starpoints ( I know that isn't a lot, but if you give someone a cupcake, you'll be getting 7 starpoints for 9 starcoins which is a great bargain!)
And a couple of more.

A little more about Levels.
Levels are a little more easier to understand. The concept is simple, in order to level up you must earn Starpoints. And since I just explained about that, from here on out it gets really simple.
There is unlimited levels.  Right now I'm on level 51 =)
As you can see, I have earned 80 starpoints so far in level 51. I have to have 199 starpoints until I level up in level 52 so it's going to be awhile.
The best thing about labels...well to me anyway is this:

YOU CAN PLAY WITH THE STARPOINT HAIRSTYLES! :D :D
You can't save them on your doll, but I can use them in Youtube Tutorials.
WHICH IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
^^ Happy Sara ^^
Here comes the math...
I'll start this off easy.
Let's say you get 14 starpoints a day and you need 199 points to level up.
199/14 = 14.2
So it would take you 14 days to earn 199 points, to level up.

Now let's say your a non-SS and you can only earn 12 points a day and you need 199 points to level up.
199/12 = 16.5
So it would take you 17 days ( When it comes to decimals, if it is .5 or greater you just go onto the next number.) to level up, which is a little longer.
But not everyone gets 14 or even 12 points a day. So let's get a more average number.
199/7 = 28.4.
So 28 days.

But not everyone needs 199 points to level up. Let's say you need 88 points.
88/14= 6.2
So you can level up in a matter of 6 days, which is pretty impressive really.
Now if you earn 12 points a day, it won't take that long either.
88/12= 7.3
A week? Not so bad...
Let's put in our average number, which is 7.
88/7 = 12.5
13 days.

So yeah that's your math lesson for today kids! XD

MSW '12 Semi Finalists

Hey Guys!
So I know it's been a little while, but I finally got my home internet back.
Which means I can post more often =)
YAY!
So today Stardoll selected the Semi Finalists for MSW 2012
I voted for CrystalsJoy, like I did last year for my country. I'm not surprised that she got in, after all she was on the Top Designer list many many times.
I went over to see who placed in Austrialia, because my TRR friend Kat (popcornDaisy) decided to run again. And if you may remember, last year she got in the Semi Finals and she got in again this year!

Congratulations Kat!
In TRR we all made bets on MSW. And I placed 5 Starcoins that Kat would get in, and she did.

I now am getting 5sc!
Who do you think will make it to the finals?
