Hotbuys earrings have been released!

So the first HB of September has been released.... The Earrings!

Beautiful! And look at the price! Compared to the last month's HB Earrings that's a bargain!

Sadly I can't buy them today because I only have 9 Stardollars, but since tomorrow is exchange day and I've been saving up my Starcoins, I'll be able to get them! =)

The store is very nice and very high quality there is something for everyone in here.  I really like the blue bed and mirror. Both meet my tastes.

Hi there,

So yeah I know, haven't posted this much. And enough with the excuses, I've been lazy.

But it's the end of the month so I promise to post more during the month of September, although I do start school September 6th so yeah.

And about my tutorial, I was supposed to post my tutorial last night. But I didn't save my work. I still have my recordings but all my edits are lost. So I'll probably put that up over the weekend.

I do have a few Stardoll updates to post on, so I'll get that done tonight. Then I'll treat myself to my favorite show, Desperate Housewives :)

Stardoll Weekly Updates- MK Store released, MSW Round One Starts today, New Stardoll Tutorial

Why hello there!

So over the weekend Stardoll updated a few things!

Mortal Kiss 2 Store is out!:

And I waited all of this time for THIS? I'm actually pretty disappointed!

The quality of some of the items is pretty good like the Mortal Kiss Ballgown. But some of the items are just disappointing.Prices are a bit high with the most expensive item at 30 SD!



MSW is back.

That's right MSW is back. And Stardoll released a campaign page for those who want to know more about the competition. You can visit it Here!
But let me sum it up:
So for the first round you can vote anybody you like all you have to do is click on the big crown that's on their page.
The crown should look like this:

The first round ends September 16th, which is 18 days from now.

For the second round: 680 Semi Finalists will go on to the next round, 20 from each country ( only the 30 top voted countries) 20 from each continent( America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.), then for voters you can only vote for your country or continent. Then whoever the " Continent" or " Country Queen" will go on to the Grand finale.

When I first read this I was a bit confused, but re-reading it kinda helped. I like how the competition moves more faster than last year and how everybody has a chance to be voted.
But even in it's second day, there is still the spamming, the bribes, and everything else that just turns the competition around.
Although, if you visit the Campaign page you get these free gifts:

Very nice gifts indeed. Especially the dress, very high quality and great graphics! =]
Over all the competition looks so different then last year! But to me it's improved.

123,456,789 Members Mark!

Hey Guys,

So yesterday Stardoll " supposedly" hit 123,456,789 Million Members. And to celebrate, they released these items:

I guess Stardoll learned their lesson from the last members mark. Putting out free items always makes people happy.

Now I am not one to complain here! Very very cute items here and best of all they're all free! You could probably make a decent outfit using these items.

Sadly there is no suite items like there was last time ( for the 111,111,111 million members mark back in mid-June) but that's ok as the quality of the clothes makes up for it.

Motral Kiss Polished floor released

Hello guys,

So yesterday Stardoll released a new Polished floor inspired by the Stardoll novel, Mortal Kiss 2.

 

3 words:

Not.My.Thing.

Most of these polishes are just not my thing, I mean I don't want some " Brain Nail Polish" on my nails. When it comes to nail polish, I like to be on the safe side.

Although the Camo and " Oozing Blood" polishes do fit my taste. They're simple enough to put onto your medoll's hands. I would buy them but I'm not willing to pay that price!

As for price, all are 17 stardollars ( way too much for some polishes that aren't worth it!).

I have to say that this is a let down to me, usually Polished floors are pretty good but this? No. Even though there's 2 polishes I do like.

HB Leggings released

Hey Guys,

So the ninth HB of August has been released, The Leggings.

Now these are alright, but not my thing. They are 15 stardollars and can be found at Pretty in Pink ( or Pretty in love what ever you want to call it)

Overall it is an alright deal, but still I'm not a fan on the color scheme or print.

HB Bag released

Hey Guys,

So today Stardoll released the Hotbuys Boquet Bag.

Now this bag screams cuteness all over! Although I wasn't expecting it to be a Mint color, but it still fits in this month's HB collection. So I deffo bought it!

Now the price is 10 stardollars ( how cheap for a Hotbuy these days!) and it can be found at bonjour bizou.

Overall very nice bag and I recomend buying it. Good price, great bag!

New "Hidden Store" D-Signed

Hey Guys,

So yesterday Stardoll released a new " Hidden Store" for USA members called D-Signed.

Most of the items are in Starcoins...

To me it's an alright store, kinda something you would expect from a Disney clothing line.

I absoulty LOVE the Fedora hat though, I have been looking for a inexpensive Virtual Fedora ever since November. And I finally found one! Yay!

Stardoll Weekly Updates: Mortal Kiss is Back/HB Leblon Skirt Released/ HB Fireworks Dress Released

So  I might start doing these " Weekly Updates" so I can post what I missed over the weekend.

Mortal Kiss is back.

Last week Stardoll posted on their Twitter account leaking a few spoilers. Mortal Kiss 2 was one of them.

If you do not know what Mortal Kiss is, then let me tell you.

Last September, Stardoll teamed up with Random House to create a new teen romance novel, which was known as "Mortal Kiss".

Stardoll went all out, releasing a store, contests, and much more.

A real life version of  Mortal Kiss was released January 6th.

In my early blogging days, I wrote a very poor review on Mortal Kiss, if you even dare to read it then click here. ( Please note that when I wrote this review I didn't even read the story so I am not even close to being relevant.)

Since Mortal Kiss was so popular, I guess Stardoll decided to continue on with it and make Mortal Kiss 2: Fool's Silver.

2 chapters have already been released. Unlike last year there is no map, the stories are in the StarBlog.

A Calender has been released, later on this week the store and some contest should be out.

HB Leblon Skirt Released:

Today Stardoll released the 6th August HB,  the Leblon Skirt:

You can find it at Rio for the decent price of 18 stardollars.

Now My opinion on the skirt: Well it is a bit short, but other than that I like it. The price is pretty decent at 18 stardollars ( and I say decent because, compared to some of the other Hotbuys these days, 18 stardollars is pretty much a bargain!)

HB Fireworks Dress Released:

On Saturday, Stardoll released the 10th August HB, the Fireworks dress:

I'm assuming that this is a glitch, considering the fact that this dress wasn't supposed to be released until August 31st.

But nonetheless it's still a beautiful dress, you can find it in the store Pretty in Pink ( or Pretty in Love whatever you perfer to call it) at the so-so price of 24 stardollars.

HB Beetlemania Dress released

So today Stardoll Released the 5th Hotbuy of August, the Beetlemania Dress.

Ok,Stardoll what did you do to this dress?

It looked much better in the HB Promo Post ( You know what I mean, don't you?) now it's a bit too bright.

It's from the store Decades and can be purchased for 23 stardollars ( which is still pricey).

Hey Guys,

Nothings really going on in Dollyworld, which is a bit odd. Usually there's something going on! But no, then again sometimes Stardoll has those days...

So yeah, I could make a tutorial, but I would rather blog. Possibly rant? Maybe, have to find something to rant about.

Speaking of rants, I haven't made one in a lonng time. Last time I posted one was back in May. Sad life isn't it?

Well I'm off to some club to find something to rant about  ( usually there's some drama going on so I can probably find something)

HB Stole Released

Hey Guys,

So today Stardoll released the 4th Hotbuy for August.

Looked much better in the 'spoilers'. Without the hints of green it would be pretty.

The price is 16 stardollars and the store is Rio, personally you could get a lot more for 16 stardollars.

Overall it's not worth it, just way too much.

I'm back/ New Sea of Stars floor/HB Blazer and Bear Hat released/ New Youtube Video

Hey Guys,

So yep I'm back, I took a wee little break to catach up on some RL things, but I'm back!

And I'm late on a few things....

New Sea of Stars floor:

This is alright, although I'm not a fan of the Bubble Helmets.

Now some of the outfits are nice. But I personally perfer the other floors of the Sea of Stars floor.

HB Bear Hat Released

This was released on August 5th, it's alright, althought it is a bit out done. To me I don't like animal hats, or animal jewlery, it's just a bit too much.

The price is 17 Stardollars, which is wayy to much for a Hat.

HB Blazer Released:

This was released yesterday, and I LOVE it, the feathers  and floral are  the perfect combination.

And 21 stadollars? For Hotbuy's these days, that is pretty reasonable. 

In that case, I bought it  :)

New Youtube Video

SO yes, Hypercam is working again. YAY!

So This is inspired by Nature, I'm sure that other Stardoll Makeup Guru's have done something simalar, but trust me everyone makes a few changes.

There is two looks, the first is "Just look at the Sunrise" which is inspired by a sunrise. The second look is inspired by clouds :)

Givenchy Store released

So today Stardoll released the Givenchy Tribute today.

It's an alright tribute, but it is probably the cheapest.

Prices range from 5 stardollars to 28 stardollars. Which is pretty cheap compared to some of the previous tribute stores.

New Polished Floor

Hey Guys,

So today Stardoll relesed a new Polished floor:

It's all inspired by the "Sea of Stars" Graphic Novel.

Also for Royalty, there's a free polish, so if your Royalty, go snatch that up :)
All of the other polishes ( on this floor) are a bit too sparkly for me, kinda reminds me of LUXE, but for nails.

Best Shops for Non-SS

Hey Guys,

There is a lot of shops in the Starplaza, for SS and Royalty it's a heaven, but for non-ss it can be a bit hard to find cute clothing for a reasonable price.

Well this post will be showing you which stores are best for Non-SS.

Rivera is a great shop for Non-SS's because, there is  very cute items for a Non-SS to purchase.

Everything is at a decent price at Riviera,  and also everything is Summery!

This is probably the best store for a Non-SS to shop at! Everything is Starcoins ( or the Currency for Non-Superstars), and plus everything is decent quality! All of the items are cute, chic, classic, and fun!

Want Culture? Well Windows on the world is for you! Most Acessories are for Non-SS and some clothing :)

Another all Starcoins store, Basics is all basic clothing, but it's good for layering!

Like graphic tees? Well this is the store for you? Most shirts are for Non-SS :)

Stardoll Staff Badge

Hey Guys,

So today Stardoll has did something remarkable, very remarkable.

They created the Stardoll Staff Seal. Which looks like this:

Basically what this is, is that on each member of the Stardoll Staff this seal will appear, saying that they are the official Stardoll Staff.

So if you were to go to Callie.Stardoll's page you would see that right next to her presentation.

I think this is really remarkable because well there is a lot of people claiming that they are members of the Stardoll Staff ( when really they're not) so this really seperates the posers from the actual Stardoll Staff.

You see what I mean?
Anyway I would love to hear what you thought of this new little change. Do you like it? Or do you think it doesn't really make a difference?

HB Navjo Earrings released

Hey Guys,

So the first Hotbuy of August has been released, the Najvo earrings  which cost 20 Stardollars.

Worth the price? NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! They are pretty earrings but certainly not worth the price, if they were 8 or 12 I wouldn't care, but 20? Ok that's a bit too far!

The earrings themselves are very pretty, the  detailing is beautiful.

I won't be buying them, since the price is wayyyy too high, but they are pretty :)

Ramadan Calender Item #2

Hey Guys,

So the second item of the Ramadan Calender has been released.

Beautiful shoes, the price of them is 65 Starcoins, which is pretty reasonable and they are worth it.

I like the detailing, especially how the heel is shapes, I don't see a lot of shoes like this ( on Stardoll)

Ramadan Calender released.

Hi guys,

So today the Ramadan Calender has been released. Click here to view it.

Today is when Ramadan starts, basically Ramadan is where you fast for 30 days. Now I'm not a Muslim so I won't be doing Ramadan. But for all of those Muslims who are then "Happy Ramadan!"

This is the first item off of the calender:
